In memory of Tobias Rawet (1936-2026)

IHRS has recieved the sad news that our former board member, Tobias Rawet z”l, has passed away at the age of 90. Tobias came to Sweden as a Holocaust survivor and has committed his life to testify about his experiences to pupils in schools. His testimony will live on at the Swedish Holocaust Museum in Dimensions in Testimony. The Museum also preserves some artifacts which he has donated. Tobias became a member of the board when the Institute was new and he has been, and still is, very important to our work. We mourn a friend and a Mensch who never gave up hope on the possibility that every person could do better. May his memory be a blessing.
